Poetic Justice Foundation will be presenting at the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) 2025 Annual Conference under a roundtable titled "Sitting in the Tension: Caste and the South Asian Diaspora", contributing to conversations on caste, diaspora, and social justice within Asian Studies and South Asian research contexts. AAS draws together scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners from around the world, making it a key space for engaging interdisciplinary work.
The panel will highlight the absence of caste in mainstream academic frameworks and emphasize the importance of centering caste-oppressed voices and anti-caste scholarship.
