Poetic Justice Foundation is facilitating a series of Radical Punjabi Poetry Classes for community members and learners interested in Punjabi literature, political education, and creative expression. The classes approach poetry as a site of resistance, collective memory, and radical imagination, drawing attention to how Punjabi poets have historically confronted caste, gender, empire, and state violence through language and metaphor.
Participants will engage directly with Punjabi text, including vocabulary, poetic devices, and historical context, while also discussing contemporary social justice movements.
The series creates an accessible learning environment for heritage speakers, language learners, and those curious about the political potential of art.
