Anti-Racism and Decolonization 101 is the second workshop in a three-part Social Justice 101 series.
This session provides an accessible introduction to the social, political, and economic construction of race, and helps participants distinguish between individual prejudice and structural racism. The workshop also examines colonial histories and how colonial logics continue to shape inequality in the present. Participants are encouraged to think critically about solidarity with racialized communities, Indigenous sovereignty, and global movements for decolonization.
